Dr. Meagan Hinzman attended Lindenwood University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science. She then pursued her Doctorate of Chiropractic at Logan College of Chiropractic graduating in 2017 and later pursued her Master’s degree in sports science and rehab graduating in 2019.
Prior to attending chiropractic school, Dr. Hinzman was a personal trainer for four years. During a workout she injured her shoulder and sought out chiropractic care for the first time. She was amazed at how chiropractic care healed her shoulder and she became very interested in the chiropractic profession. Through shadowing different chiropractors and learning everything chiropractic entailed, she decided chiropractic was the career for her. She liked that chiropractic care was a conservative form of treatment that helps treat many different conditions.
Dr. Hinzman has always had an interest in sports medicine. While attending chiropractic school she specialized in sports chiropractic. She has been fortunate enough to work with various college athletes including SIUE, Harris Stowe University, Mizzou, and professional athletes of the St. Louis FC soccer team. She also has experience as a strength coach for Scott Gallaher Soccer Club. Though her specialty is sports chiropractic and working with athletes, Dr. Hinzman has a passion for helping anybody and everybody she can through chiropractic care. She has seen the positive impact chiropractic care has had not only on herself but for her patients as well. She enjoys being able to make a difference in the lives of all of her patients.
She feels that figuring out the root cause of an issue and treating that issue with adjustments combined with passive and active therapy provide the best results for her patients. She understands the importance of getting adjusted regularly and enjoys being able to educate all of her patients on the importance of chiropractic care. Dr. Hinzman will be a chiropractic patient for life because by getting adjusted regularly she feels better, she’s able to move and function better, she has more energy, she gets sick less often, and it allows her to have overall optimal health.
Dr. Hinzman’s main goal is to educate her patients on their condition and what needs to be done to help correct that condition, and to be able to help each of her patients achieve their own optimal health so they can continue doing what they enjoy doing and to She looks forward to meeting you and seeing how she can help you!
