A physical therapist said it was because of my shoulder.... read moreI started experiencing pain in my right arm 3 years ago. I was initially diagnosed with biceps tendonitis. A physical therapist said it was because of my shoulder. Over time the intensity of the pain increased and spread to my shoulder and neck. Eventually the source of the pain was identified as nerve compression in my neck. After successful oral steroids injections were tried and they made the pain worse which begged the question, is compression in my neck the source of the pain. I was then scheduled for spinal fusion surgery. A week before surgery I decided I needed to exhaust all other options, one of which was chiropractic. On the first appointment Dr Crosby examined me from head to toe. She reviewed blood work, x-rays, and scans that had been done in preparation for surgery. She highlighted obvious deficiencies in my bloodwork that no one had taken issue with previously. Things that would have inhibited my ability to heal, particularly from surgery let alone the pain I'd been experiencing. She also identified a different primary cause of the pain, one that made more sense given my health history. After 2 appointments the pain has reduced and is tolerable most of the time without any over-the-counter medications that I was using like candy previously. While we are still seeing how far this journey can take us, I'm very confident that Dr Crosby saved me from a horrible mistake and the rest of my life with surgeries to correct surgeries. read less

My purpose for coming to your facility was to find relief from some of the discomfort I was having. I learned about where the discomfort was coming from and guidelines on what I would need to do to help alleviate the pain. The care i have been receiving has helped to find relief from the discomfort. I am definitely on the up hill climb and it is due to the care I have received from Dr. Horn and staff. They offer several services at this chiropractic clinic including massage therapy, hormone testing, as well as regular chiropractic adjustments & more.
